Prana Flow & Rest Workshop

Join Melissa for a 90-minute, powerful yoga flow, inspired by Prana Vinyasa Flow, the teachings of Shiva Rea. Our workshop will close with a 30-minute yoga nidra practice.

This class will give you the opportunity to move deeply in the Earth element, as we move from the Summer, into the Fall season, which is a time to bring in balance, groundedness and security. Prana Vinyasa Flow provides an opportunity to move through sun salutations, and then flow through a beautiful practice that gives students time and space in each shape by bringing in rhythmic movements to lengthen and explore their bodies. This is a powerful class, but time to rest is also built into the flow.

Following our 90-minutes of movement, Melissa will guide students through a 30- minute Yoga Nidra, which gives students the opportunity for deep relaxation and restoration. 30-minutes of Yoga Nidra is said to be the equivalent of 2-4 hours of deeps sleep.

Light snacks will be served after class.

Melissa is an 200-hour RYT-trained in Prana Vinyasa, and was trained by Maria Garre through the New Mexico School of Yoga. Melissa is also trained in Trauma Sensitive Yoga and Restorative Yoga, and is currently working on her Aerial Yoga certification. Cost is $45 and unlimited member 15% discount applies.
